Collaborative teaching is a pedagogy in which more than one teacher works together in the classroom to create a common curriculum that aligns onsite and virtual teaching and learning.
At KEDUCON, this approach has been used for over half a decade to effectively bridge learning gaps in STEM subjects. The school teachers take the lead and virtual teaching experts provide follow-up support, focusing on important concepts in science and math.
The blended learning modules for science and math are delivered by experienced teachers, with separate subject experts for physics, chemistry, and biology. The virtual interactions last for 45-60 minutes and are divided into pre-lecture assessment, core lecture, and post-lecture assessment.
Both pre- and post-lecture assessments are online testing modules that students complete at their own locations. The analysis of post-lecture assessment results provides a clear understanding of student learning outcomes.
